District Band 2017

Congratulations to the 23 students who earned a spot in District Band, and to everyone who worked hard and auditioned this past weekend. Especially exciting and extra congratulations to three middle school students (Jordan, Sophie & Emily), who earned first or second chair in all three area districts - VBODA Districts 10, 11, & 12. Two high school students, Ryan and Noah, are All-VA eligible.

Because of the (non)snow delay, several students weren't able to audition on the alternate holiday weekend date... we'll wait for your names to be on the list next year!

I'm also delighted for the many students I see in sectionals (and their private teachers and band directors) who made district band from McLean HS, Langley HS, Longfellow MS, Cooper MS, Robinson MS & HS, Lanier MS, and Frost MS.
